submodules: dump tree info status for git-use-previous-commit I'm getting traces from sysrepo-cpp build where the "use previous commit" apparently goes to far into the past for (some) submodules. Let's gather some info about what's causing this (I suspect that it's due to a submodule which is pinned to a tag instead of a branch, which throws git-rev-parse's off balance).
